| Dyed Carnations, January '02 |

| Pictures (from late January 2002) of the bouquet of carnations that Josh brought for me. Half of them were already 'dyed' with red edges, then we put some of them in water with blue food coloring, so some are white and blue, others are red, white and blue. They are all closeups, taken with the longest extension tube on the 50mm lens. Then a number of them were put through one or more of the special effects available in my graphics software, to add a 'watercolor' effect and in some cases either a color toning or a 'linen' effect.
