Gandalf bends to pick up the Ring
...and sees the Eye of Sauron!


Riddles in the Dark...


He's really gone, hasn't he?
Hmmm... Bilbo's Ring...


After Gandalf has departed,
Frodo is left wondering about
the significance of the Ring...


Mount Doom, in Mordor
and Sauron's fortress

  of Barad-Dûr, now being
  rebuilt by his minions...



The Nine (Ringwraiths)

  They are disguised
  as riders in Black



They will cross the River Isen on Midsummer's Eve, on their way to the Shire
They will find the Ring, and kill the one who carries it!



Gandalf rides to Minas Tirith.  He can see the storm brewing in Mordor,
over the ruins of Osgiliath, and sunrise in the 'White City'...



Gandalf searches the archives for information on the Ring - and he finds it!

Meanwhile, Frodo settles into his new rôle as the Master of Bag End, with his friends
